TINUBU GIVES FRESH ORDER TO ADDRESS HUNGER CHALLENGES


Senator Abubakar Kyari, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, has announced the initiation of the distribution of 42,000 metric tons of grains across all 36 states of Nigeria.

President Bola Tinubu has granted approval for this distribution, aiming to address citizens' challenges, particularly in the aftermath of incidents like the looting of food warehouses.

The minister highlighted collaborations with the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Department of State Service (DSS) to ensure proper delivery of the grains to the intended recipients.

 Additionally, plans include releasing 58,500 metric tons of milled rice from mega rice millers to stabilize the market.

Senator Kyari expressed compassion for those affected by the country's hardships and assured citizens of the government's unwavering commitment to their well-being.
